Our purpose-built Airport Oaks childcare centre in Mangere caters for 134 children from 0-5 years old. There are five separate classrooms split into different age groups...
- Butterflies room for 0-1 year olds
- Bumblebees room for 1-2 year olds
- Tui Tots room for 2-3 year olds
- Junior Owls room for 3-4 years olds
- Senior Owls room for 4-5 year olds
Hand-washing and grace, or karakia, is done before every meal.
Visiting hours are 10:00am to 11:45am in the morning and 3:00pm to 4:30pm in the afternoon. Please make an appointment with us first so we know to expect you. Just phone us on 257-1360.

A Christian philosophy, quality education (incorporating the Reggio Emilia philosophy), care, active movement sessions, meals and nappies are some of the things we offer here at Bright Sparks.
During the year there are trips involving the whole centre to places such as the Zoo, MoTaT, the Museum and Butterfly Creek. These trips are a great way to extend the children's learning and are a feature of our centre.
The teams from each age group room in the centre also have monthly programme planning and evaluation meetings. And the whole team comes together for monthly staff meetings. This allows the overall care and education of the children and their families to be discussed, reviewed and improved upon if there is the need for that.
You are welcome to phone in during the day to check up on your child. The staff will be more than happy to give you a report when you call.
