Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible. No one can do more.
Where We Are
Our Education Style
Welcome to Bright Spark’s online hub! Come in. Get comfy. And please, make yourself at home.
A philosophy that combines the best of Reggio Emilia principles and Christian values, quality education and care in attractive well-resourced environments are just a small part of what we offer here at Bright Sparks Childcare centres.
Look behind the scenes and you’ll find there’s a lot more. We provide a healthy, nutritional menu, nappies, weekly active movement sessions, centre and room outings, a fun and stimulating educational programme.
Rest assured all children at Bright Sparks Childcare centres receive the best in quality care and education from qualified, passionate and committed teachers.
We invite you along for a meet & greet! Stay, play and see for yourself if Bright Sparks is your family’s home away from home.Request a meet & greet
Wisdom begins with wonder
We believe in respecting each child’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs through everything we do at Bright Sparks.
We collaborate with our children, exploring, questioning, and making sense of the world together.
Why Choose Us
People who care
We are passionate about children and their learning. All teaching teams engage in ongoing reflective korero, professional development, training and theoretical exploration.
Quality care & education
We follow the NZ Early Childhood Curriculum – Te Whariki. The Reggio Emilia principles incorporated into our program further support and develop children’s thinking and learning.
Free nappies & formula
We provide free nappies for our under 2 year olds and S26 Step 2 formula for babies 6-12 months. That’s two things you don’t have to worry about when your kids come to Bright Sparks.
Cooked nutritious meals
Good nutrition is essential for optimal brain development in the early years. We provide beautifully cooked, well-balanced meals for your child.
Our annual trip involving the whole centre is something we all look forward to. These trips are additional to the trips each room organises for their group of children.
Active movement sessions
Each of our childcare centres offer weekly active movement sessions for their children. These sessions are facilitated by Counties Manukau Sport for us.
Swimming lessons take place during the first and last terms of the year. They are provided free of charge for all 4 year olds attending our Mangere childcare centre.
These visits offer children opportunities to get accustomed to varied reading styles, to enrich their vocabulary, to practice active listening and encourage reading at home.
We have an open-door policy that allows parents and whanau to drop in at any time to play with their child.
B4 School Checks
Bright Sparks Childcare is part of the B4 School Check – a nationwide programme that provides free health and development checks for four year olds.
Through the Ministry of Health, every child in New Zealand is entitled to 8 free “Well Child” checks. This is where your child’s health, development and wellbeing are observed and assessed.
20 hours ECE
All 3-4 year old children attending our centre are entitled to receive 20 hours ECE to help you with the cost of early childhood education. This is a subsidy provided by the Government.
